Heritage is a complex, layered word. It encompasses a wide array of meanings from the tangible like food, language, rituals to something far more nuanced that runs deeper. It sets the context to our lives. But we live in an age where we have spread out far and wide, away from our roots. What does it mean to be rooted in heritage, in this situation?
